The optical views are engravings, halfway between the popular print and the reproduction of works of art. The first were published in London in 1720 and later in France and were published throughout the 18th century.

To see them, an optical device was used, a zograscope, which increases the sense of depth of the image by means of a lens and a diagonal mirror.

Poor/reasonable condition. Upper right corner repaired. Apart from this, very good condition. Original colors.
