Beautiful large format view of the Lakenhal in Leiden, within a decorative frame. Hand-coloured larger copy after the engraving that was part of the so-called 'Grote Hagen', a large map of Leiden surrounded by small views of the city's sights, engraved by Christiaan Hagen (1630/39 -1695) in 1675. This version of the engraving was published by Pieter van der Aa in Leiden around 1725.
