17th century copper engraving with four maps. Top left Doetinchem, bottom left Groenlo, top right Lochem, all three city maps in bird's-eye perspective. Bottom right a fortress map of Bredevoort. Back blank.

Published by Jacob van Biesen in Arnhem in 1654. Gelderland cartographer Nicolaas Geelkercken was responsible for the maps and special city maps with profile views. His city maps were later used by Joan Blaeu and Johannes Janssonius for their City Books.

Very good condition.
