This rare aquatint, made around 1812-1820, is depicting the bustling port of Toulon, was drawn and engraved by Charles Barrallier and published by Paul André Basset. It illustrates the vastness and importance of Toulon, home base of the French Mediterranean fleet.

Fair to good condition. Multiple repairs in the margins, some slightly affecting the image (see photos). Original coloring. Clean print. Very attractive despite small imperfections. Rare.
